Local driver here said they had been called out to numerous businesses where the travelling type of thieves had simply turfed up in the evening with their car or van with a couple of 45 Gallon drums in the back, punctured the xyz thousand litre oil tank, filled up their 45 gallon drums then drive off leaving the tank pouring oil out thousands of litres all over the place, the innocent company then gets fined for the pollution, have to fund the clean up, repair of the tank and the loss of fuel.

I think they have just about had their lot…… I fell sorry for those hard workers who put in so much time often for free.

But for the likes of Pleming, he should have stood down over the Waddington fiasco, indeed he muttered on this year about leaving, but hangs on like Labour Politician, seemingly unaware his time has come and gone..a lot of those people attending Waddington were ardent fans of the Vulcan and paid out their hard earned money to attend the show to see her fly, unaware that it was already known within the organisation that it was not to be, Fans that probably had put their hands in their pockets to make it happen, Fans that went home disillusioned at the fact they had spent so much for nought…….

That’s were it all went wrong…… treat your revenue source like sh*t then wonder why it’s dried up.. the one people you needed to keep informed were those that you let down, even now the website lacks a simple update, just a paltry Birthday card ticking down like a death clock to nought…………

I for one used to support this great cause, now all I do is bin the endless begging requests from them, what makes it even sadder are those fans that have stuck with it and paid out monies some can barely afford to try and keep her going will see nought back from it if the target is not reached….

Its a crying shame what started off as such superb project seems to be set to end its days parked up in a Hangar in Wiltshire.

No I don’t, I wish them all the best, I do think however the management have been poor at their best in the handling of the likes of Waddington, end of the day, they knew it was never gonna fly but they failed to tell anyone about it, and yes, I spent hundreds of pounds getting there to see it fly and NO it didn’t, my donations stopped at that point……. As no doubt did a lot of other peoples…… One wonders how much that cost them in lost revenue…… Pathetic really and **** poor management!!!

No not at you, just the management that seem to be riding the project to it’s doom whilst alienating all of those that gave to the project. It really is a sad state of affairs and If I won the Lottery I would have gladly funded them for the next couple of years, but I haven’t and never will, However there would have been a proviso and that would have been that the management team resigned………

If the funds are not there at the end of the day, there are only so many to blame…….

The Public for not given as suggested by them………… I think not!!

People seem to think I am anti Vulcan, I AM NOT, I love em and think that what has been achieved is stunning and a credit to those that have put in a lot of hard work often for free however, I loath squandered monies and mismanagement percieved or not….

A failing company that has a drop in profits ousts those in charge and replaces them with those that can get the job done, why is it so different in this case??
