All Su-24s in the Central Military Okrug have been upgraded by Gefest.
This confirms bmpd’s info that many dozens were upgraded after performance in the 8-8-8 War. Good to see MOD finally came to its senses after years of Gefest&T languishing with several aiframes @ Lipetsk, though too bad it did not happen 10-5 years ago. Su-24 is very much on its way out as Su-34 deliveries add up.

and no need to white wash it.. flanker is 22m and f-22 is 19m, or a 3m difference. or in other words its 72 feet and 62 feet. that is a big difference.. bigger than the difference between the hornet and super hornet.

MIG-29K flew in 2006 and delivered to IN in 2009. very normal time for export fighter. PAK-FA has alot more funding behind it. it will take less than a year to fly from aircraft carrier. see this experiance. All this data from MIG-29K flight trials will be input into any new fighter.

I have really come to the conclusion that the su35 or pakfa or j20 is what argentina should go for. Not sure why anyone would by mirage f1s for anything. Those planes would cost a foot and an arm to keep operational. Even the newer m2000s would suffer the same problem.

As much as I love the jf17, too shortlegged for argentinas needs. If u buy planes, they better be for war not just parades, something argentinas present fleet does not do justice with. Might as well wear the union jack and start speaking english than keep flying these old toy planes.

only j31 or j20. pakfa cannot keep anti ship missile in the bay because the body is too narrow. that is why they have to keep two missle on the side near the wing.
su35 can do it though..but not sure i fit can beat typhoon.
