War Horse – for what is at least the twentieth time!

Batman – none of this Christopher Nolan nonsense, either. The Tim Burton original with Michael Keaton as the Caped Crusader, and Jack Nicholson as the Joker. Still an awesome film!

    A New York Winter’s Tale

Colin Farrell plays an Irishman whose destiny seems to be intertwined with a frail red-headed girl with whom he falls in love. Russell Crowe plays a demon out to thwart his efforts.

Not sure what to think of this one. Will have to watch it again.

Christine – sentient car takes over teenage boy’s life and starts killing off his enemies. Good, but not as good as the book.

Man of Steel – should have called it Pile of Crap. What is it with superhero movies these days, where absolutely everything has to be destroyed in the big finale?

Raiders of the Lost Ark – the original and best Indy film!

    Despicable Me – great fun.

The Lion King – still an amazing film, although scary to think this film is now some 20 years old!!

A Million Ways to Die in the West – second time around, still rather fun!

    Forrest Gump

    The Shawshank Redemption

Both great movies, and scary to think that both of them are now 20 years old…!

Inglourious Basterds – DO NOT WATCH (This film will make you think the Nazis weren’t that bad!)

It is not a film that resides within my collection!

    The House of Magic

An abandoned ginger cat finds his way into a spooky old house owned by an eccentric magician whose nephew is hell-bent on selling the property from under him. Nicely animated CGI, but I felt something was a bit lacking in this kids’ flick.

    Hi All,
The Worlds End – Simon Pegg,Nick Frost and Martin Freeman. Not a bad film on the whole quite enjoyed it.:eagerness:

    Geoff.

Personally I think it’s the weakest of the three films (Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz being the other two), but I haven’t watched it in a while.

    Frozen

After some harassment from my work colleagues, I ended up borrowing it to see what all the fuss was about.

    Ummm. Yeah, it wasn’t bad!

    Toy Story 1-3

Still great fun (and the scary thing is the first one is almost 20 years old!!). Wish they would just leave it at 3 and not carry on…!

    Shikar by Jack Warner.

A man-eating tiger is on the loose in small-town America. Not bad so far.
