    You’re right 25 minutes is not bad at all. I just put that comment in as whenever I have seen a MON330 anywhere, it has always had some sort of delay on it.

    Great report.

    Sounds as if Monarch’s Premium may not be as good as TCX’s or MYT’s whom I’m sure have leather seats. Sounds better than the cattle class I normally fly anyway.

    P.S. Does the MON330 ever leave anywhere on time? 😉

    And another one has happened today. This is number 4 in 8 days.

    A singapore airlines flight en route to New York from Frankfurt has diverted to Manchester because of a ‘security alert’.

    How much longer can this go on?

    I have some worrying thoughts about this.

    Firstly hoaxes are tremendously effective at causing panic and chaos. If this happens frequently, then it will cause massive disruption to air traffic and ultimately people may once again thinking about flying.

    My worry is that if there is a flood of hoaxes, ‘we’ may get complacement to the warnings and somehwere along the line something real will happen.

    Well, I’ve booked it and gone for Ryanair. Easyjet aren’t on sale yet and scheduled flights were just too expensive.

    So my first experience with Ryanair comes up next May.
