The BFS flight is daily.
I hope the routes mentioned above are daily too…fingers crossed.:)
Good to see UA744s still coming into LHR. I flew on once into LHR from SFO in 2000 – great flight. 🙂
I had heard the MYT were supposed to be using 2 aircraft this year and it didn’t happen.
More good news for LBA though. 🙂
Incredible Ren given the fireball in the footage.
Why are there so few lo-co flights to the Canaries or Cyprus?
If Larnaca/Tenerife was on offer from someone; I’m sure it would be a popular route.
Wow, that would be good news Ren!
In answer to your question EAL, I would estimate between 600 and 800. 10,000 is I think way off the mark; though I’m here to be proved wrong.
I don’t want to tread on anyone’s toes, but I run one of the biggest weather forums in the U.K. with over 1000 members. If anyone used language like that, they would be banned; even it some of it was **** out. 🙁
Back on topic, I’d be interested to see what the real figure is if anyone can find the answer.
In terms of length, is the A345 the same size as the A343?
The A346 is an very long A343, which in turn is a stretched A342.
I always thought the A345 was a ultra long-haul A346, but clearly its shorter than a A346.
Can it be distinguished externally from the A343?
I think the new 757s have them Andrew, don’t know about the rest of the fleet.
Hi A330;
I’ve flew on AMM’s A320s and B757s. IMO, they give Britannia a run for their money, and actually outperform them in some areas. Aircraft always clean and tidy, cabin crew excellent. Of late, I’ve found some Britannia crew rude and the interior of at least one of their 757’s shabby.
For me, Air 2000 are the UK’s number one charter with BY a very close second.
Thanks for your responses guys – I appreciate that.:)
G-AWZS taken 1993 this trident is used as a classroom and is still intact.
Ah, if this is ZR and the top photo is ZR, then I don’t think its intact anymore?
This may back up my theory that there are only 3 machines stored at Teesside.
Thanks Trident man.
These machines have been at Teesside for as long as I can remember. I must admit, I didn’t think there were four though.
Good man – cheers mate.:)
Thanks Nationwide 🙂
How did you find this out? I didn’t know the U.K. flight was a -400. I do know it was a brand new aircraft at the time.
