I posted this thread nearly 3 hours ago and no-one has replied!
Is no-one happy for me? 🙂
This is major news you know……lol:D
Is it a 732?
Extremely dirty but great pic though.
Welcome on board!:)
Its amazing what a difference a bit of light makes!
I can now answer this myself and it does look life our Saturday flights have been cut to one per day!
What is the world coming to?
🙁 🙁 🙁 🙁 🙁 😡
Great story wysiwyg – sounds like a great day out.
Nothing of excitement here at Teesside; just the usual increase in schedules. I expect we’ll see a B763 doing frequent BY ‘W’ runs this year from NCL – apart from that all quiet on the western front.
Ren – you have the same initial thoughts as me which is why I posted this thread initially. I wonder if there is a way we could actually find out?
I’m looking forward to seeing this as this accident has always been a strange one for me.
I can’t believe wake turbulence alone could bring down an A300 so there must be other factors involved. I have heard pilot error mentioned but will reserve thoughts on that until I see the programme.
Well, I genuinely didn’t know you could do this.
Next time I fly, I can watch TV at the same time (and last year I flew during the World Cup Final – how I would have liked this facility then!)
Thanks guys. 🙂
Looks lovely.
Went on both of these aircraft last year – look great in the new livery.
This maybe slights off-topic, (and a daft question) but does Nicosia airport still exist?
I’m only aware of Larnaca & Paphos.
Hi Rhino,
Where have you seen reports about bmibaby and MME? I’d be interested to read these – of course if this rumour was true that would be great news, but, I can’t see it somehow.
Ryanair have been running out of Teesside for a couple a years now with one daily flight to Dublin. Last Summer, an additional daily flight was put on over the weekend – don’t know if this will be back this year.
Its been received well. Anything that brings low cost activity to Teesside has to be positive. The airport’s website reports that Teesside is the best performer of all Ryainair’s bases (out of 15 monitored) in terms of punctuality etc… Hardly difficult though with only one flight is it? 😮
There are no Manchester shuttles that I am aware of.
I agree with you Carl, if LBA or NCL hadn’t been successful in winning low cost operations, it would have increased the liklihood of MME being successful. It would be very difficult now for major operations to run from MME with so much close competition elsewhere.
