Hi Steve
I can answer your question about the 5 Oil Pressure guages.
It was a common practice in UK service with the Centauras to keep adding them till the oil pressure came good – just start her up and whatever the highest reading was – well that must be the right one and away you go- Oil pressure by consensus !!!!!!!! I just love it – Still you can make some bucks selling the spares.

Hi Steve
Unfortunately we are colonials and as such – as you have discovered – barely tolerated by our former Lords and Masters so they like to have us on the forum so as to keep track of what the menials in the colonies are up to in case they have to put down another rebelion.

Beer is my choice but it will be good.

Hi Steve
One last thing do you find the white OK – it would anoy me a bit but it’s what suits you here – I would go for matt grey or green I think – the glare must be a bit wild with white?

Hii
There are nowhere near enough machines that go ping in there – you will never be able to show your face in the industry if it isn’t packed solid with thingys. There is no Ipod , No USB connectors, Wheres the Plasma TV , DVD player, X Box, Video camera – For gods sake man have you lost your senses – all there is to do in this damn thing is FLY THE PLANE!!!!
Also Andy would like to see the Jacuizzi and Bar arrangements in the rear before he flies again and the rear seat should recline for those long distance naps.
Seriously Steve this looks fine and very practicle to me except that I and a few eyesight challenged might have a little difficulty reading a couple of those instruments in a hurry.

Hi Mike
Yes I do remember the A37s – Col is finally about to do one for himself – he has just finished his next P40 – a real beauty – and the A37 is next.
If you look through these photos you will see both the A37 and P40 as well as all his other aircraft.

Mike I also love what you have done with your aircraft- they are in beautiful condition and your facility is the dream of any person even remotely interested in aircraft. I loved your P40 when it was with Col Pay but I also love it now. The color scheme is your business – the point is you look after it and it is a fantastic machine. I enjoyed your post – thanks for the pictures – I really appreciated them I had not seen any of her after she left Col’s. For what it’s worth I think the Seafire is one of the greatest restorations of the past decade.

Hi Steve
Apparently they are actually embedding the LEDs in sheet polycarbonate moulded to the wing shape so as not to disturb the airflow but also stay very light. No wonder the rubbish costs $4.50 a can – it won’t be cheap but it will be easily removed when the nightmare is over.

I agree
Lets see some really bright scheme – there are enough WW11 Camo schemes about – Cheer up the airshow scene a bit
