Hi
I think one of the DH 88 replicas is the one at the Mosquito Museum in the UK which I believe is being rebuilt.

Hi
Yes I have heard that the member for Kansas is very interested in steps and in particular step ladders – arrangements have been put in place to import large quantities of stepladders into both NZ and Australia to support his visit.

Hi
I think this could take the place of the national insignia on sea Furies in the US or at least could be trialed on one of them…………………….

C’mon the 108 isn’t that bad – at least it still flies and eventually I am sure someone can find the correct mill for it and it will be well again – in the meantime as I said it is in the air adding a bit of Bosche to the Wanaka displays.

Hi Mark
Well done to all – I had heard a whisper of this and was very pleased to see it happen.
I will be posting a photo series on my webshots account soon (100 shots) of this aircraft. I hope a similar fate awaits to sister ship langushing at Wangarratta in the open.
Anyway big changes for your museum this year
WELL DONE!!!!
Kindest regards
John P
Hi Black night
A call to any professional motor racing team will put you in contact with people that do their helmets and will do whatever you want – not cheap but very professional and they are used to high quality/quantity and fast turn around.

Hi
No doubt she is a great and historic aircraft but the price does make one rather gasp when you consider what is available for that money. Most of the worlds remaining closely related Cadets are in Australia and when sold they go nowhere near that money. I also believe there are enough bits in NZ to put another together for a lot less money so – Lovely to look at but not with my $200,000.00 thanks.

Hi at the risk of repeating on this
1) A much better project could have been found for the money
2) Scrap it – they can’t all be saved – just do it quickly so everyone can move on
