Hi Mike
I will post soon but they are very poor as I explained – no light – too far away through a fence – but I will post after I have had a fiddle to make them a bit better.
I am rather hoping that someone over in the UK will give ME some Good pics when she shows up!!!!!!
I am pretty well camped out at the docks here every day now in case the second one mentioned comes through in daylight – I don’t want to miss that one. One thing I have just noticed though is that the aircraft and one wing are very faded black and one wing (very banged up) is olive drab/grey undersurface ?

NB Please note that this photo is one taken by Glen Alderton and has his copyright – I have used it after gaining his permissionn to post his images with acknowledgement
Well I thinki diversity is good and I think it is great that some Spits look different to others and portray all the various versions and sub types – its not like there is a shortage of eleptical versions around. I also like to see the Griffon engined clipped wing version as well – looks very mean but “right ” somehow.

Hi Cees
Why not it is still sitting there slowly rotting away looking like the ugly stepdaughter – what a shame – Still the Canucks showed them how it is done and perhaps they are soon to repeat the dose!!!!

Hi All
Back from Canberraa today and saw the AWM example again while I was there – they have closed the public access to the annex at Mitchell so you can’t see the overflow collection any more.
On the subject of New build Mossies there is still a fair quantity of stuff (metal components only) here in Australia so it could be that some of the stuff for an FB IV could come from here.

Hi Peter
Fair enough, now I know why they were upset
I thought it was because I was Australian – seems to upset everybody else

Hi all
I’ve made suggestions along those lines in the past and they won’t let me fly on their airline anymore

Alister
Being of Scottish descent I am somewhat disturbed by reports of the pending sale of Glen Morange ( Spelling excused please) – What do you know of this it’s an outrage if a southerner gets it !!!
I am sure we can “do a deal” when I get there- I love Scotland – the trouble you will have is getting me to leave!!
Kindest regards
Looking forward to seeing you all
