A couple of years ago when EI were putting a few 737s into the aerlingus.com livery the media announced that EI were totally getting rid of the green colour scheme, there was a huge public outcry!

They wont be getting rid of that livery any time soon, imagine another eurowhite scheme YUK!

The fares are free but with taxes etc it really isnt that cheap €60 or so hardly amazing!

At the risk of being flamed here, this is comlete thrash I doubt many people on here would disagree.

Whos axing UK airports left right and centre? That might be a slight exageration as their UK network was never that big anyway!

Im not talking about BA management, Im talking about from an operations poit of view-baggage handlers etc, unmotivated and in-efficent.

Well my opinion is that this would be a great move for both LH and BD.

I cant really see This may also give the BD staff at LHR a kick in the ass that they need, this is from personal expierence when they are comparing themselves to BA at LHR they havnt got a hige amount to live up to.

Another problem they may face is the EU. LH can buy LX and BD, AF can buy KL but FR cant buy EI, Im not a huge FR fan but I have to ask myself if the EU are showing bias to the ”flag carriers”.
