As Mark L says, use vatsim if you want serious flying, the Zone if you dont. Bear in mind you really need to know all your stuff if you want to fly on vatsim, everything from how to fly SID’s and STAR’s to ATC procedures (the correct ones!) and a good general knowledge of computers and what to do when computers crash!

Oh yea, the Scots really know how to conduct themselves in public. Not to mention any of the fights that are started down here by the Scots, or forgetting that the Scots that lived near me in Spain used to start fights with the English and Spanish purely because we aren’t Scottish. Come on get real. We see what the media want us to see, and we mainly see the English doing stupid stuff. That doesn’t mean the Scots dont trash bars etc… And lets not forget that the English in Portugal who are rioting are just a bunch of idiots who drink too much beer and then think they are hard by starting fights. I praise the Portugese police for being heavy handed. They should all be locked up for life on an island in the middle of the ocean with no food. Scum.

Here at Dunkeswell in the UK we can activate the runway lights from inside the aircraft. Press the R/T button quickly four times to turn them on and do it again to turn them off!

Hey. Newcastle did well last season!

Such a shame we threw the game away, but I think it proves a few things. Firstly, the match is never over until the final whistle has been blown. Secondly, NEVER play Heskey. We would probably do better without him on the pitch and just 10 men. And finally, we almost beat one of the best teams in the world, ok almost isnt good enough, but we nearly did it. We gave the French a big shock and it just proves that when our team is focused they could be great. Shame we lost concentration at the end.
I didnt think France played all that well, nor do I think England did. The first half was excellent, but the second… Well done France though, never gave up. I look forward to the next match against you!

Why not fly an ILS? Whilst flying the ILS you dont need any help

Bland but I think its ok. I just cant stand the way some airlines but their web adresses on their aircraft, looks cheap and tacky. Is it really that hard for us to find their websites?

Id go with BA. Purely because I believe BA has high standards and I trust BA, I dont really know Malev that well. I would probably expect a better service from BA too, and finally I would rather buy a ticket on a British airline before any other countries airlines.

When we used to live in Spain, all our flights to and from Spain were on Iberia and Viva Airlines. For the first 4 years out there all the Spanish used to clap and the English would be silent, and then from 1998 onwards everyone was silent. (The silence may have been due to the burned out aircraft that has been parked at the side of Alicante airports runway!)

I woudlnt worry about it. I do that all the time, and im 16. So does my brother. Had an AS level exam earlier and when I checked one of my answers I noticed I had written: “Therefore the business should not pay any more royalties to coffee unless they are guaranteed more turnover”. (Note the wrong word being coffee!)
Dont worry about it, but if you are just e-mail one of the internet doctor people, they are helpfull with things like that.
As for the forgetting what you are doing, again I do that quite often. Its just when you are thinking about two things at once I suppose, so dont worry about it.

Greekdude1, the only thing that makes American Football “harder” than rugby in my opinion is the fact that you can take out people who dont have the ball (I believe you can block them or something). In rugby the rucks are extremely dangerous, and last season in a match between our school and its rivals one of my mates died due to a scrum (he is a hooker and both teams were pushing so hard his ribs just colapsed inswards). In rucks if many people saw what really goes on they would be pretty shocked (all the little tricks like stamping on the opposition with your nice big metal studs in rucks and ref’s cant see you do it)

I agree with you comet when you say Beckham is a disgrace. But dont you think most of the English are ashamed of him. I cannot understand why he is Captain. If you are Captain then you are also an ambassador for you country, and he certainly does England no favours.

    CBSTD:
I cannot understand the logic in your post. You said that give them pads and helmets and then they can really hurt each other. How does that work?! In rugby we arent sissy enough to have to wear pads and helmets, and I have watched and been to several American Football (note the American Football, not just Football) games and to be honest I think rugby players are tougher. On top of this, Rugby players are far more fit. They run around for 80 minutes with just a 15 minute break in the middle. With American Football there are breaks all the time! You dont really have to be all that fit do you? The padding cushions many of the hits too. You want a good hard game then play rugby, and you want a good hard game that makes people knackered and still go on the play rugby sevens. You want a game where you get breaks all the time, wear helmets and padding so hits are cushioned then play American Football.
