… maybe Top Gear should stop making any comments about the police in general to avoid anyone deciding that they can discount their education and attack police at will.

…..and speed cameras, they have feelings too………

Why did you choose that particular scheme? I still can’t decide on one (if I ever get the damn thing finished, that is )

    Stuart

It’s not quite right yet, however, I ended up with this scheme as I like this period of the war and I don’t think N3290 has been done since (then).

    What mark is yours?

(Might have to start a new thread as this one is being destroyed)

Taken in August right before a very heavy rain storm…..

If its thought to be bad taste i will remove it….

    Far from it!

This is what remembrance is all about!

This young American wrote the most famous aeronautical poem ever, a short while later he was killed flying Spitfires, before his country officially came into the war.

Would be nice if some of us Brits couldn’t club together, clean it up and lay some flowers for the 11th November.

    can we do it?

Very clever – you have of course hidden the markings. What did you decide to have it painted as?

    Not intentional Robert

    N3290 92 Squadron

The one with the unusual fuselage roundal

I guess the programme did fulfil one important aim – it entertained me for an hour, so that’s fair enough I suppose!

    Chox

If Key Publishing would put that photograph on the front cover of Flypast, that would be OK then?

If by simply putting as a header of the thread
Gordon Ramsey flies a Spitfire, (Graphic language content) that would be OK for four letter swearwords? What next?

This is a family forum where fathers sit with son’s and pass down their aviation enthusiasm and knowledge, not trying to explain ‘Graphic image content’

It’s easy to find stuff like this elsewhere on the web, I just don’t think there is a need to put it on this forum, however hard you try to justify it.

It also seems to me, Baz, that the overwhelming “vote” on this thread appears to support your view.

With all that asides, what about the kids that frequent this forum, how would parents feel if their 9 year old was clicking this stuff up on here?? Some people are repulsed by these images and they are the adults, what nightmares will be created by these images.

It’s nothing to do with censorship, it’s to do with common decency.

    Baz
