We are simply not used to it. When realities of conflict like this appear in front of us whilst we are sitting in our comfortable chairs with the smell of dinner wafting around and the kids playing in the other room, it is bound to repulse most normal human beings.
Anon.
The more I think about this thread, the more I think it needs to be binned.
As a cliffman, I’ve seen things at the base of cliffs I couldn’t begin to describe.
I’ve scooped up………..never mind.
Not offended, not repulsed, just find it unnecessary.

In truth, to pretend there is actually ‘an answer’ is fatuous.
There isn’t one. Each case will be different, and none of us is in a position to define what is ‘correct’
Moggy
In this case I’ll be fatuous and say the ‘correct’ thing to do is break the link and consign this to the bin.
just my thoughts

At Plymouth Airport a couple of years ago, this happened!!:diablo:
If it wasn’t for the Chock box stopping this aeroplane, it would have gone down a bank and ended up in the fuel farm.
If your on a slope………..chock it. One of the reasons for brakes to fail are the brake cables expand slightly when warming up after landing. Seen it happen often. Mind you, Plymouth has slopes you can ski down.
Damn thing looks good to me.
I’d be really pissed if I had bought that and found out it was a fake.
Someone has taken a blank log book worth about £30 and defaced it with rubbish and now it’s worth a fiver.
It needs to be taken back, money recovered and burnt on the doorstep.
Learnt to fly Sedburgs and Cadet MkIIIs early 70s here via 40F squadron Maidstone. Saw many of the Airshows here also.
This was the one with a commemoration teddy bear was stuck on all the participants, I believe after a fellow pilot had been killed in a Harvard earlier in the year??
Think the term is ‘Theft by finding’.

I’d go along with that, if the Government implements the opt out plan, it would save a lot of lives. The only fear would be the NHS selecting my organs before I popped off my mortal coil, although I may have been retrievable with a bit of effort!!……………that aside, good idea.

As for me, well after I was banned for being rude to the head mod (is that possible of me) I just carried on posting there because I had five other identities saved up for such an eventuality…
