Loos do seem to be a perennial headache for us…..
every year we book extra, but still have the same problems????????????
Another problrem is,even they have to be paid for….any leads on a more cost-effective solution for 2007 gratefully recieved
Easiest thing to help cure the que’s to me would be to get at least one of those trailer things in for the gents. The one’s with loads of urinals in, we dont really need a whole loo each! 🙂
Excellent day out today welldone to everyone involved in the organising and also a very big welldone to Andy Cubin for managing to knock the undercarrage of the Hunter into submission after it failed to raise – thought we were going to miss the best bit for a while! Look forward to next year. 🙂
It’s louder, it’s bigger and above all you get to put your monica on the only privately owned supersonic aircraft in the UK if not europe! 🙂
All being well I’ll be there Sunday – last time I went to an Abingdon show there was a Lightning flying, so it’s been a while…..
Looking forward to it. 🙂
Now you mention it guys that does ring a bell. Thanks for clearing that one up – it’s appreciated. 🙂
BANG 😀 😀 😎
You should do after dinner speeches, help pay for the old girls….
To add to that,
c/n 14005 new as LN-SUD then to G-AOZN then 9L-LAL then ZK-EJM. The aircraft was seriously damaged while landing at Ardmore 09/05/77 and written of. Cant explain why it’s not showing the full reg though – thats if it is this aircraft?
Typical in the 15 minutes it takes me to locate my lists somebody else posts what I find. 😀
More, more, more – my sides are actually close to splitting! 😀 If anyone hears a big bang out Newmarket way, that’ll be me.
Notice the ‘purists’ are keeping quiet…. 😀
P.S. will there be a JCB mechanical aircraft smasher option to go with the Navy version of the kit. You could qualify for it if you still have yours after 10 years?
Thats told ’em! 😀 😎
Thanks for clearing all the speculation up ‘XR537’ and well done and thanks for all the work so far. I for one appreciate all the hard work and cash that goes into getting these old jets airworthy. It annoys me no end when someone spends say a six figure sum putting one of these old girls back in the air and all they get from ‘enthusiasts’ is, the paints not quite right, isn’t that transfer in the wrong place etc, etc. Let alone what people tell you is going to happen to your aircraft……
Blimey, must have been a yearly check or something….. 😮 😀
Nice pictures Brian.
Cant believe they got the Autocrat out! 😮
I visit there alot and I’ve never had the pleasure of seeing it outside the hanger. Perhaps its just a little jinx I have.
All the best.
‘Outed’ in my first posting!! 😀
Doh – I waited 702 and then provided the information myself! 😀
Sorry people – back to the topic…… 🙂
Sorry Lee, just trying to be helpful. It seems to be called Flying Legends on the IWM site and The Fighter Collection site but you have it listed as Fighter Meet in your airshow apperances. Sorry not really my area, I will now return to hiding under a stone. 😮
