Colin is an EX-serving pilot…didn’t you hear that part?
What does Colin do now does he still fly for a living? Noticed he wasn’t in RAF uniform on base so guessed he no longer serves.

It’s not the pikeys im woried about it’s the so called enthusiasts who will rob and stick the parts on e bay.!
Oh yes. Actually quite therapeutic sat on the bomb bay tanks listening to the rain drumming on the roof!
Yep externally the Maid looks fine. One of our chaps thought there may be an aerial or 2 missing but I don’t know the aircraft well enough to say for sure.
Are folk robbing bits off this while it’s parked up?
Pity they was not jumped by a 109 to make it a little more interesting, Anyone know what the camera ship was?
And how come its in bits? It has wood worm.:D

Wellington LN 514. 24hr to build.
Just watched a interesting program of life building a wellington bomber during the war through the eyes of women workers in the factory.
LN514 was built in just under 24hrs from start to finish & they saw it take to the sky what happened in it’s service career?

Presumably a big garden or a small camp.
Read in another paper he cleared 1 acre of land to find that little lot and seems there may be some more land,So he may find more.
Still a nice find amazing whats still left under our noses!:D
Hope he doesnt find anything bigger than a hand grenade to try and “defuse”!!!!
You just wouldn’t would you! What a dummy.
Aswell as amunition and bombs were rifles and machine guns thrown over board or sold on?
