In the case of the bbmf they dont have the manpower to do a full overhaul so its best to contract out to arco where all the services are available to do the work in house.

Next they will send all the Typhoons & Tonkas.

You would have thought they would do all there own after all they have had 70 yrs to excell at it.:D

The radio guys should transmit from the Nimrod those HF antennas would be ideal for Amateur radio it would certainly get some interest to your site when they work the world from an aeroplane it ads some exitment, as a radio ham myself i would enjoy to work them.

Hams opperate from light houses from ships, hill tops, bunkers, aerodromes why not a Nimrod those antennas can be tuned im sure for all of the hf bands is this something you could mention to them i don’t know how to get hold of them?
