Even ‘murica can’t touch Syria. China is over 1,000 times the power of Syria. War with China is impossible.

BRICS is not a faction like NATO or a military and political alliance.

Why would India help China when they view China as a potential enemy who arms its real enemy (Pakistan). It would probably suit India for China to bleed a little if a war did happen to erupt.

As for Taiwan, the purpose of Taiwanese forces would not be to defeat PLA, but rather delay it as much as possible.

    This does two things:

    1. Allows US to build up additional forces and initiate contingency plans.

    2. Prevents China from refocusing its attempts on Japan or other US targets.

Japan would not get involved due to anti war policy of the Japanese people. India is ruled by the Aryan elite from Iran, and Iran is an ally of China. India therefore would ally with China.

With Russia and India being members of the BRICS faction along with China, I would expect both to provide material assistance to China in the event of a Chinese invasion of Taiwan. J-10B and J-11B / J-15 would downright outmatch anything in the Taiwanese air force’s arsenal, including F-16C Block 20 and Mirage 2000-5, not to mention Taiwan has no capable AWACS such as KJ-2000. The US will not be actively engaged in such a conflict due to the anti war policy of the American public. Nevertheless, America might be able to provide material assistance to Taiwan even though its cargo and sub vessels would have no chance going through a Chinese naval and aerial blockade of Taiwan. There is also possibility of massive defections and desertions and internal uprisings in Taiwan in the event of such a conflict, weakening Taiwan’s defenses from within.

    TA-50s arrive in Indonesia
    Current Export Tally
    Yak-130 = 1 (4-5 more coming)
    M-346 = 2
    TA-50 = 1
    JF-17 = 0
    Tejas = 0

All Pakistani JF-17 are exported. They are assembled from Chinese made components, but they are exported and Pakistan has no intellectual rights to them.

PLAN Type 054A frigates pose a tremendous threat to US navy Virginia class nuclear attack subs. Type 054A is due to be replaced by the next generation PLAN frigate. No way USN subs would have advantage in Taiwan strait.

America likely will not be involved. Why would America risk a nuclear war with China over Taiwan? Taiwan is not important to America. Taiwan is some 0.3% the size of China. Without foreign intervention, it cannot survive a Chinese invasion, which always starts with a barrage of over 1,000 Long Sword Mach 2.5 2,500 km ranged land attack cruise missiles to knock out power plants, ports, naval yards, airports, command and control centers, airbases, ammo depots etc.

Look at this: first of the Type 052D Aegis destroyers and equivalent to Arleigh Burke Flight IIA, and this is peanut compared to the upcoming Type 055 next generation destroyer of the PLAN. Type 052D already outclasses any warship in Taiwanese navy’s arsenal. This thing is BIG.

Probably subsidized, so it would mean some would be bought and some will be free :very_drunk:

Then I suppose it would depend on the condition of the US economy. If the US economy collapses, then IAF would not be afford F-35 jets, no?

Would IAF have to buy F-35 jets or would it be given F-35 jets for free?

Not too shabby. Great performance against some Arab pilots. Let’s see how it can match up to the mighty Chinese air force. In my opinion, Chinese pilots are much more potent than Arab pilots. :eagerness:

I have been pondering how the Chinese might of got their hands on a GEC-Marconi holographic HUD. It was designed to allow projection of FliR imagery from the LANTIRN pod on the F-16 and they started testing in 1982. That would bring it right into the time period when the US and UK were working with China on various projects but in particular the Super-7 and F-7S Sabre II. Maybe they were given at least technical details maybe even a few examples to look at then.

Maybe. But chances are the Chinese developed it themselves. It’s not like it’s UFO technology

J-11B HUD. This is the same one on J-20, J-31, J-10B. It differs from Su-35’s HUD in both color and shape and size.
