    That is an absurd comparison.
Half the country is out of government control. Half of it is under siege by one side or another. Destruction is extremely heavy in any major city. Politically country is splintered among armed lines.
Sounds like a civil war to me.

Only Ar Raqqah city is out of control of the Syrian government, and that is a small provincial capital. Every Muslim country is involved in the Syria conflict. It is not a civil war.

After 2 and a third years, hundreds of thousands died in the American Civil War, the Spanish Civil War. The conflict in Syria is too small to be called a civil war.

90,000+ dead in a very short period of time. This is full scale war with bothb sides throwing all gloves off.

This is an estimate only, and includes deaths of foreign fighters. It is not the scale of a civil war. The scale is too small to be called a war. It is a low intensity conflict.

In technical terms it is a low intensity conflict, not the scale of a civil war, which would be something like the American Civil War or the Spanish Civil War or the Chinese Civil War. Same happens in Iraq and Lebanon. Iraq is getting F-16 Block 52+, I don’t see why Syria can’t get MiG-29M2.

Like F-35, J-20 also uses body lift, which is why its wings are relatively small for its body size.

Can’t even see the missile. LoL, but i can see the fins of the missile showing 🙂

Look at the front. It’s definitely a missile.

wow just look hwo much longer the bottom bay is in comparison with the side bay.
what large missiles do they plan to fit in there.

PL-21. It’s a big long range ramjet powered air to air missile.

So is it going to be an actual no fly zone rather than a ground attack zone as in Libya in 2011?

Apparently you don’t know the difference between the people in the US who actually create the Apple product and introduce it to the market, and the comparatively cheap Chinese engineering and labor force needed to manufacture the products to meet demand.

You tried to make it look like Chinese were behind Apple’s success. Sorry, nope.

Who cares about Apple? It’s a low tech gadget for the masses.

Man, you are a hopeless bot.

Keep beating that CHINESE ETHNIC SUPERIORITY drum though.

Curious what power Chinese poor neighborhoods have, I fail to see it in the states.

Can you prove your claim about Apple engineers?

    Nice evasion.

And you are full of crap. ASIAN Americans, a comparatively small part of the pop, have that distinction.
Funny how some of the poorest Asian communities in the US are CHINATOWNS.

Small in terms of what? Small in pop but huge in power.

    Proof of this?

Anyways China’s contribution to apple is basically cheap production. That’s it. How one can be super proud of this I am not sure, but whatever.
Eventually labor costs will not be so favorable to China.

Chinese Americans have the highest education, the highest income, the lowest crime in the USA. This fact is indisputable.

Thanks. We’ll see about Lenovo beating Apple down the road, but that is for another thread. The U.S. auto market is saturated. I’ll bet if a Chinese company could produce a Hyundai-like vehicle with the reliability and the warranty, they’d sell. From what I understand, Chinese gear has a reputation for being cheaply-made. To a certain extent, that is true. There is some cheap Chinese crap out there, but that can be said for brands from all nations. They [the Chinese] need to catch on and prove themselves in the market for high-end military equipment. The products for “just good enough” type usages will still be very open for Chinese military products for the foreseeable future. Don’t forget the Chinese economy will surpass the U.S.’ economy as the world’s biggest in around 2020.

Apple is based in Cali and most of its engineers and designers are Chinese Americans. Why not compare NASA to CNSA?

Don’t forget the Chinese economy will surpass the U.S.’ economy as the world’s biggest in around 2020.

This means nothing. Which country has more material wealth? Which country has lower poverty rate? Which country has better education? Which country’s people are happier? Those are important.

That doesn’t matter. Noone gives damn about Chinese “high-tech”. Not in Europe, anyway. China is still unable to sell a decent sedan or a medical ultrasound here, let alone a helicopter or a fighter aircraft. This will not have changed anytime soon.

I don’t have beef with anyone. But if anyone dares to insult my homeland like the above quote does, then I will retaliate. 😮

Back to the topic. JF-17 is a new design. Upgraded Mirage F1 compared to JF-17 is pretty much the same as AK-47 compared to QBZ-03. There’s no comparison.

Let me know when China can copy a Rolls Royce Phantom without bolloxing it up.

    Y-20, English forum?…

Let me know when Europe finally puts DSI on a plane.
