Or how about Terence Tao, the Chinese genius from Australia? One of the smartest on the planet. :eagerness: Practically the Qin Jiushao of today.
That’s a nice telescope, but there is more to the spectrum than visible light. When it comes down to that, the U.S. still has China beat. Besides how many telescopes does China have in orbit?
How about the world’s very first UV spectrum nuke powered Moon based telescope? 😎 Launch in T minus 2 months.

Again, says you!
China has the world’s most advanced manned deep sea exploration sub – I QUIVER WITH FEAR!!!
Oh wow Seawolf is so advanced it’s UFO. Whatever the Americans can make, Chinese can make. Let’s not forget Chinese an an offshoot of the great Akkadian people. Where was Native American civilization when Chinese discovered Pascal’s triangle for binomial coefficients? :applause:
Erm, says who? We know next to nothing about ANY of the above mentioned weapon systems and yet YOU have declared them a match for (or rather superior to) everything!!! US Navy reports quote the latest Chinese designed sub’s as being nosier than most pre-1980 Soviet submarines! We know nothing about the J-10B except for youtube cgi crap made by fans and the Type 52 destroyer has nothing over an Arleigh Burke…I will admit though your posts as fukkin’ hilarious to read at times
Rule #1: Never underestimate your opponent. The US navy intelligence made a big blunder prior to Pearl Harbor attack and then realized Zero fighter is not as crappy as they thought.
This is crap: http://blogs.fas.org/security/2009/11/subnoise/
J-20 is as stealthy as F-22 and PAKFA. Type 052D is superior to Arleigh Burke Flight IIA. I’d be stupid to say Type 095 noisier than Seawolf. Let’s not forget China has the world’s most advanced manned deep sea exploration sub.

Back to the topic. Since Pakistan is the biggest Muslim country, and Pakistan is a big user of JF-17, methinks Iran should go for JF-17 at least in the near future. JF-17 is essentially a single engine counterpart of MiG-29, which Iran already uses.
5,000 years old Chinese axe with great Akkadian math on it. Chinese are, again, an offshoot of the great Akkadian people who went to China 7,500 BC. :eagerness:
Possible new type of matter discovered in China and Japan this year.
Here we agree completely. The China I know is nothing but a huge manufacturing complex without signs of own invention.. Certainly there are exceptions but in my sector of work, we have found 99% of our products copied (often 1:1) but so far we have not found a single thing that was worth copying back. If you expect that this earns my respect, then you’re wrong.
Not so. Even today, China contributes to discoveries in modern science.

Of course, if that helps getting more knowledge for the mankind, then I’m in, Chinese-made or not.
That’s the spirit, lad. :applause:
I usually try to avoid generalizations like that but judging by the many Chinese I have encountered/worked with, I certainly was not impressed.
Hard to say. Russians and Americans were on the moon more than 40 years ago.
… and?
True that Archimedes discovered the volume of sphere hundreds of years before Zu Chongzhi did, but the latter had a more elegant solution. Chinese are an offshoot of the great Akkadian civilization, and thus are always late to the game, so to speak. Even though the Americans and the Russians explored the Moon decades before the Chinese did, the Chinese have more advanced technology, introducing for example, a capable X band AESA ground penetrating radar that can explore hundreds of meters below the Moon’s surface, which has never been accomplished till now. :applause:
They sure keep buying more and more samples over the years, for such engine masters.
Because of friendship between China and Russia, of course. :eagerness:
Why are the masters importing Al-31s right now then, among numerous other foreign engines?
Chinese are rarely inventors. They often have to get a sample first.
Oh, quite on the contrary, it’s a reasonably good car. Except not one screw on it is Chinese-designed.
A Chinese guy proved the formula for the volume of a sphere. Chinese are one of the smartest people in the world. China launches the first nuclear powered unmanned Moon rover and the first Moon based space telescope this year. Are those also not Chinese designed?

WS-10A is fully certified, which is why J-10B entered serial production this year. Now the Chinese are masters at jet engines. :applause:
No, China needs Iran’s oil and Gas.
China has rejected the imposition of an arms embargo.
In that case, J-10B would like a thriller for Iran. Methinks JF-17 might be too small for Iran’s liking. J-10B > UAE’s F-16E Block 60 Desert Falcon. Iran should also import Qoros 3 automobiles from China. Qoros 3 is the world’s safest car. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qoros_3
