I want to get to Brooklands but I don’t know yet if I can make it. Chesterfield isn’t a good place to start from.
Yeah, I’m trying to shift things around so I can get there too.
As for you Mr Young, I’ll remind you that there’s many a good tune played on an old fiddle.
Mine’s a pint.
Thanks
Andy
I shan’t use the same invective as AiB but it seems we are at opposite ends of the political spectrum here.
I clearly remember one H. Wilson doing his best to completely stuff the UK in the 60s and 70s and this grinning idiot and his cronies are trying to finish the job.I would never vote Labour even if voting was compulsory and they were the only party.
Ken
although we share many interests I fear we’ll never see ‘eye to eye’ on this matter and with the growing discord I see around me every day here (and on historic) I’ve no wish to argue.
I do however respect your stong feelings.
Hopefully see you at Brooklands.
Cheers
Andy
Besides the RFC finding the real value of ludo?
How about:-
“After dinner Tom brightened himself up with a few drinks and lost a few francs at the latest diversion, roulette. Before going to bed he asked Beal if he knew what the jobs for the next day were.”
or
” There were Huns about: they could be seen as black dots far away in the east, and sometimes a wing flashed in the sun high up and nearer. It was difficult to see them against the bright sky, and near the sun there was an area where it was quite impossible to be certain was empty.”
Still reading Winged Victory and Flying Witness – with the American Serviceman’s guide to Britain as my “bog book”.
Found anymore revelations in WV?
Or by announcing huge tax hikes straight after the great gullible British public vote these toerags back in for another four years of lies, deceit and stealth taxation.
Be even more afraid… 🙁
Of course Steve, this is a stunt the f******g Tories never thought of pulling.
In a pig’s eye!!!
I’m quite happy to say that in the forthcoming election I intend to vote for Labour again.
I’d rather stuff my genitals in a waste disposal unit than have Teflon Howard and his bunch of home counties Fascists running the country.
I remember what a complete b*lls up they made the last time.
And despite what the reptiles from the Daily Mail might spit out in the form of bile onto their sordid little comic each day–much has improved in this country since that time.
I fully expect a lengthy response from Mr Danohagan to my above post but I mean what I say.
Fortunatley ,free speech in this country was about the only thing Thatcher and her *rse licking cronies managed to keep their hands off.
A…
I find it surprising that I can type “Stoke-on-Trent” and “Biddulph” without censorship
They should definitely always be censored.
Well done Dan
thanks for sharing.
Andy
I don’t believe he had–although I’m flying without references here.
Damien
further to my post above.
Abu Hamza has not only not been forced to stand trial here in the Uk, Mr Blunkett when he was Home Secretary was unable to conjour up enough evidence to even get his British citizenship legally removed, even though it was only granted in 1981 through what appears to be a somewhat ‘dodgy’ marriage to an English woman.
He also failed to come up with convincing evidence as to why he should be deported to the US.
Now I’m no fan of Abu Hamza, If I was in charge a ‘convenient’ road traffic accident may well have sorted him out long ago.
However, would the activities of Adams, McGuinness and co stand up to any better scrutiny??
I think not.
Cheers
Andy
Because the muslim cleric had been found guilty in a court of law?
I don’t believe he had–although I’m flying without references here.
Melv
Well, you know what I think.
A grand job, well done.
Andy
PS I’m quite impressed about the Mrs P thing–you must work fast you’ve only met twice. Does Patty know yet?
I have a feeling and I’m working completely without references here that Coastal Command might have had some Mk.IVs like that.
They would have been fighters I think–well, you know Mk.IVF’s.
Anyone???
I’m sorry I can’t help on the questions.
Great Pictures though and thanks for sharing.
Andy
I’m not on welfare. Not quite.
still can’t get the email account working.
it is beginning to annoy me.
Might be changing ISP tomorrow.
Melv
Good Luck.
No, no way.
Is something going on?
I thought it seemed unlikely.
Perhaps you should junk the orange coat, you might get a better strike rate then.
Just thinking of your welfare… 😉 😉
And now back and running. Mind you, I still can’t get into my email account as Pipex don’t seem to want to recognise my password.
The hard disc got fixed and I lost nothing but now I have to update the virus software and may even have to change the operating system which I don’t want to do as OSX is too much like (pah!) Windoze.
So, anything been happening????
M
People say you got laid…
Is that anything like the truth?–seems doubtful to me.
