    b) Commentators with good sense inviting folk who actually restored or fly the aeroplane to talk about it, because they know
what they are talking about. The smartest commentator would really just be an MC.

As you know, those who know what they are talking about, are unfortunately not always those who are good at
    talking in public.
As far as having models airside. Nice idea, as long as they wear flat shoes. It really spoils the effect when they
try to walk on grass wearing heels. I noticed this with one young lady on Friday, lucky she didn’t break an ankle.

Yes I did, but the question wasn’t relevant to the thread title, and it had no replies Charlie.

The information I had, was that another trust had advised the SM trust, not to be involved with volunteers.
Sounds strange to me, especially after all the work they had done to get the place up and running.

As I said though, that information could be totally wrong.

Nothing like the weather forecast today. It was suppose to be dry for most of the day, with showers
arriving around 3pm. Due to taking a longer route to avoid traffic, we didn’t arrive much before 11pm.
As things looked quiet, we had a look around the airspace hangar, going on board the Comet for the first time.

By the time we came out the rain had stopped, and it stayed fine for the rest of the day. Things didn’t seem to
liven up until after 3pm. We left just before 6pm. I think the massed hoards of photographers camped down
near the ARCO hangar were a bit miffed when the wind changed, and 06 became the runway in use.

Here’s a couple of nice Duos, that brightened the afternoon up.

I think it just means they cant extend their display over the M11 ?
Cant stop them landing over it.

    Shame about the Mig.

I shall be off to Duxford soon. Looks as though the rain might
hold off until around 4pm. Depending on whose forecast you look at.
