Nice pictures 🙂
Then again, how many of us have watched the newsreel footage of the Hindenburg crash, on countless occasions ?
Maybe the Reno accident is still too fresh in the minds ? I believe It depends on how closely you can relate to these incidents.
One of the better programmes in the series.
Although they barely scratched the surface of what the base was all about.
Was talking to my Dad about Bentwaters a couple of months ago. He was saying that a chap who used to work for us,
moved to what used to be the married quarters, when he retired.
The best way to see it.
I first saw the film at the Dominion , Tottenham Ct Rd.
Well done to all involved :applause:
Lovely pictures. The background makes all the difference.
Thanks Brian (Perhaps this should be in the tutorial section ? 🙂 )
Interesting what you say about using manual mode as opposed to shutter or aperture priority.
When I went to Duxford on Friday, I ended up using manual mode. Saying that, Lightroom is a
great programme for making adjustments, as long as you don’t get carried away. Which I find easy
to do.
I may have another look at the 18-300mm lens.
Thank goodness for that 🙂
The pictures look pretty good to me.
I would guess that you weren’t zoomed in to much more than 400mm.
They seem pretty sharp, and assume that’s how they came out of the camera ?
I was looking at buying the Nikon or Tamron 18/16 -300mm superzoom, but was put off by some of the reviews.
Most saying that there was a big drop off in performance at maximum zoom. They also say the same about
the 150-600mm you use. Although saying that, a lot of the reviewers seem to have their own agenda.
How do you find it Brian ?, for the price I would expect it to be exceptional.
I just hope they don’t go into UFO territory 🙁
Ouch !!
Nice video :applause:
I shall enjoy the Bentwaters episode (hopefully). Lots of history there.
Hurn I found rather disappointing.
I think I’m there now Andy. I did get a bit confused by seeing the Vulcan and Harrier though 🙂
Nice pictures.
I’m still getting “Page not found”. I don’t usually have problems viewing other people’s Flickr pictures.
Although I don’t use it myself.
