If you are referring to the “concrete dust” then there isn’t a problem, the vast majority of the dust in the aam is from visitors clothing and airborne pollutants from traffic, not concrete.

That surprises me. I wonder what cure they have planned ?

For those who haven’t been to Duxford for a while, and have been looking at the pictures of the
aircraft movements from the AAM, here’s a couple I took on Friday

I asked one of the workmen about the work they are doing.
I must have asked the wrong person, as he didn’t even know about the dust problem !

I stumbled across his widow whilst researching BoB airmen and suggested she write to the MOD and request his medals.
They arrived in the post on Friday and the very kind people at ARCO and the IWM agreed to fly them in the Blenheim during its display.

What a wonderful gesture !

I believe the Dakota was in at Southend Airport earlier today. It was no doubt heading for Duxford yesterday.

Also What I thought were two Spitfires in formation (but I’m told one was a Hurricane). Flew low overhead
our bungalow at 7pm, heading east towards the airport. Just got a glimpse as I rushed out into the garden
