The Google translation uses the word ‘molded’ which is probably “English (US)” [sic] for moulded, so I would assume it is some kind of plastic.

    Moggy

    Unless someone has a ginormous 3D printer ? 🙂

This is our “Phil”, he adopted us about five years ago. He cost us an absolute fortune in vets bills last year.
Lovely cat though. Once he gets on my lap in the evening, he is out for the count.

I must admit that the first I had heard about this helicopter, was when it was posted on here.
How long have they been around ?

Interesting to know that this particular newsreel clip was indeed genuine. So much of the newsreel footage from WWI
was filmed well behind the lines, and even back in England.

Alan, I sense you think that is a bad thing? But ultimately, why would it be -.

Because in time of war, the general public and media are not in possession of all the facts, and rightly so.
I can just imagine the scene on the Normandy beaches. Troops coming ashore, fighting through an army of reporters.
The last thing they would have wanted was Kate Adie trying to interview them as they were dodging German bullets.

Sounds like nobody watched CH4’s spoof documentary on UKIP the other night ?
I did think about recording it, but guessed what it’s theme would be. It received quite a few complaints.
As well as no doubt serving UKIP a lot more followers, on the proverbial plate.

There are some sports which I enjoy watching.

Rugby, Golf and Tennis are not amongst them.

I like Cricket, and played many years ago for a local club. I have tried to understand Rugby, but gave up.
Used to bowl in a couple of 10-pin bowling leagues back in the 80s early 90s. Then the bowling alley burnt down 🙁
Indulged in water skiing for a few years. I enjoyed that and also belonged to a local club.

Can you imagine WWII being fought using present day media parameters ?
You would have more media pundits on the ground in Europe, than you would have enemy troops.
Broadcasting back live pictures of innocent victims of the brutal RAF/USAAF bombing.

I haven’t been there since November, but they were I believe in the process of putting another hangar up.
I’ve no idea how that is progressing. Maybe something on their website ?

I must admit that I’d not heard of that particular raid.
