Alan & Charlie
You can both take a millisecond to guess my attitude. Can we look forward to seeing and hearing both of you at this debate ?
Damn, I’m doing my hair that day 🙂
The subject: “Should there be quotas for women in Parliament and on company boards?”
Definitely not. Hasn’t this already been tried in the cabinet ?
It should be down to talent and ability alone.
Kalms is the chap that created Dixons Photographic (as was)
Moggy
Who thought his shaver was so good, he bought the company !
I thought this week’s episode on the Sunderland crash, the best so far.
Spoilt only by the breathless narrator.
Some very nice pictures there !
I can’t say that I’m particularly interested in anything Russell Brand has to say, on this or any other subject.
Great pictures, and especially interesting as my Dad was on
a MU at Mepal.
Is there free entry for Cadets in uniform ?
I was in the habit, when taking my ATC flyers to Wyton, to divert into Duxford if the flying was cancelled after we’d set off. It didn’t cost the cadets anything, just me, so was a no brainer. If it’s now going to cost them, we probably won’t bother, which is a shame.
That brings back memories. We were in a minibus of cadets going gliding at Debden. That was called off due to bad weather
so we called in at Wethersfield on the off chance. We had a base tour an a nice meal there.
Terrible thing to happen.
It reminds me of the girl who survived a plane crash into the Peruvian jungle.
Interesting to see how it works.
Although a friend who crosses more often than us, has added our car to his account
Charlie,
in German Football we have the “Ausländerregelung” or the Foreigners Law which demands that every professional German Team must have at least eight Players that were either born in Germany or trained in a German team between the age of 15 and 21 without interruption. The Bundesliga has 61 percent German Players.
.
Sounds like what we should have here Peter. Although I don’t see it happening.
I remember a game being played between Arsenal and Chelsea (I seem to remember). Where only one
of the players on the pitch was eligible to play for England.
The fact that all signs of Christmas in Sainsbury’s stores disappears on Boxing Day, speaks volumes for me.
You wouldn’t have thought that Christmas had happened. (not that I shop on Boxing day).
They are now geared up for Easter, with a break for Valentines day in February.
Happy New Year, One and All
I didn’t realize they get a grant. Is the grant dependant on what they charge for admission, or is it the other was round ?
The annual pass would be good for me and my wife. We don’t go to airshows, or spend much (if anything) in the shop.
What we would save on food by joining FOD, wouldn’t come close to offsetting the ÂŁ38 difference.
Interesting that one of the recovered bodies was wearing a life jacket. Which would suggest there
wasn’t a sudden structural failure.
