    Nice pictures.
I’ve not been on the Waverley, but we we did the trip on the Balmoral a few years ago.
It’s a whole different experience seeing London from the Thames. We went to and from Southend pier, which was
a four hour trip each way.
Looking at your pictures, the boat looks packed to capacity, very much as ours was.

There would also be the option of flying with six aircraft, of whatever type.
    Along with a rename ?

The owner paid for it and it’s his business as to what it cost him, isn’t it?

I expect it is the business of Mark One Partners LLC. Although they did quote some of the costs involved.
I see they also own another Mk.1 P9374

Plenty here about who was involved.

It would be interesting to know the total cost of the build, and who paid for it ?

I enjoyed it. Rather different to the usual “Spitfire” documentary.

I see that Andy Saunders was one of the consultants.

……….Speaking as a near life long atheist some of my greatest pleasures in life are to be found amongst the wealth of music, art, literature and architecture inspired and created by believers.

Although, saying that (and I don’t know if this has been posted before), many famous people are (or were) declared Atheists.

    Van Gogh, Monet etc.

Not a display of fire bombing at an airshow, but I’m sure there was a display by an Air Atlantique DC-3, spraying water
at an airshow. I don’t remember where or when though.

I had to cringe when the local plod appeared on the local news.
He said he went into the primary school and asked the children to put their hands up if they’d been frightened.
Of course they all put their hands up.

I doubt many of them knew what they were supposed to be frightened about ?

Came down close to a school…. or so report says – but no mention of a brave pilot fighting his crippled jet to avoid the school (so far!) .

Although in the BBC News report, they did say (three times), that it was a Primary school.

I did wonder (for a moment) as to why both seats would fire when the pilot ejects. Not much point staying with the aircraft once the pilot has gone though.
