Similar thing happened in Vietnam, with F-4s flying the profile of F-105s.

Shouldn’t be an issue with concrete, as long as any soil is washed off.
Soil would probably need to be irradiated.

My 1.6 diesel engined Volvo uses stop/start technology and is supposed to have a range of over 800 miles on one tank of fuel. Haven’t quite got that yet! It was quite nice renewing the road tax last month and not having to pay for the disc!

What do you reckon you are getting in terms of MPG ?

In terms of maintenance for Hybrids, that doesn’t seem to be an issue.

Really what they are like in day to day use. The Civic I drove seemed to perform quite well with four adults
on board. Not too many come up for sale though, and they are no longer made. The Insight doesn’t seem
to rate as well as the Civic in driver reviews.
The biggest issue seems to be the battery replacement, but it doesn’t seem to be unusual for them to
go for at easy 100,000 miles.
We won’t be doing a high mileage, so it’s really the saving on road tax, as well as fuel saving.

I do like Hondas, we are on our second Accord. Saying that, our closest Dealership is about 15miles away, and a Toyota
dealership about 300yds away 🙂 I’m not keen on the Prius, but might consider one.

There is also the argument that some of the small diesels are as efficient, and have the low tax band. Although the
modern diesels can have some issues if used on short journeys.
Most of our journeys are fairly local, with regular trips up to Norfolk to see my parents.
