It will be interesting to see if this affects the Children in Need appeal.
Considering that overall, charity donations are down 20% this year.

A lot of people say it’s an Urban Myth, but from personal experience I can
vouch for it being true.
A number of times back in the 60’s when going into shops in Wales, people
would stop talking in English, and revert to Welsh.

Strange people.

Saying that, I love Wales as a country. Had some lovely holidays there.

If I may go off at a slight tangent for a moment.
At a couple of state occasions in the last few years, the BBC have claimed
that they had the majority of viewers. Maybe as people watch them by
default?

At least as far as the Royal Wedding went, the Sky News coverage was far
superior.

I find the attitude of the BBC executives summed up very well in their
Newswatch programme.
A programme (Saturday 7:45am) where members of the public comment on
the way the BBC report the news.

Not once has a representative put their hand up and said “yes we got it
wrong”. The smug attitude being, we are the BBC and are always right.
