I must admit that I haven’t been following this thread, but it’s certainly an
amazing transformation.
Although I realize this aircraft will never fly, would it be capable
of flying when finished ?

Just in case someone didn’t realize:

DH.82 Queen Bee Unmanned radio-controlled target drone that used Tiger Moth wings and for economy a wooden fuselage
based on that of the DH.60 Moth (but with the structural changes associated with the cabane struts having been relocated
as per the standard Tiger Moth) was used.
The Queen Bee was intended to be operated from either floats or wheels. As of 2008, the sole remaining airworthy Queen Bee
resided at RAF Henlow, England. 405 were built

RC range restricted? well if you will have both transmit and receive antenna inside aircraft fuselages what can you expect?

My thought’s too. Although with these programmes, it’s not always a case of what you see is what you get.
They sometimes need some added drama 😉

Reading the Q & As on the PDF, it’s more to do with the fatigue life of the aircraft.
XH558 has been flown longer than any other Vulcan, and probably undergone more stress ?
As they say, they are now into unknown territory as far as Vulcan related fatigue goes.

It’s been wonderful while it’s lasted, I don’t think they want to push their luck.
(I use the word “luck” in it’s widest sense)

Very sad, but not unexpected.

I hope they manage to do some sort of farewell tour around the UK, to
enable people to have a last look. For those unable to get to the major
airshows.

Will she end up back at Bruntinthorpe ?

Well indeed but unfortunately much TV presentation leaves a lot to be desired, so I try to minimise the irritation. In fact I did not enjoy the first two very much, so missed the Tuskagee……must see what the subject is next week.

There are certainly a lot of questions to be answered.

At one of the hospitals where he worked, it is said that members of staff had a good idea of what was going on.
To such an extent, that he was not allowed to be on the wards on his own.

Whatever your opinion may be of David Ike, and yes I know most think him
to be some kind of weirdo, he has been accusing Savile of being a paedophile
for a number of years. Also naming others he was involved with.

Yet he has never been sued by them or their families for making these accusations.
