It’s worth seeing if there’s anything in startup.

Click on start (bottom left), in the box at the bottom or in “Run”, type msconfig. Then select startup. See if there is anything ticked which you don’t recognise.
You can actually un-tick most of what is there. Apart from the files needed to run windows.

Also try running your anti virus in safe mode.

If you type the message you get into Google, there should be a solution there.

The point about brining it all out into the open, is to help the victims.
many of whom have never told of their ordeal at the hands of this odious
individual. Once they have told their story, this acts as a release for them.

This is not my explanation, but that of specialists with expertise in dealing with child abuse.

An interesting statistic I heard on the radio several years ago, said that in
cases of child abuse, 50% of of those abusing children were women.

In fact on a programme I was listening to earlier today, a man rang in to tell that he was
abused by his mother 40yrs ago, and this was the first time he’d told anyone about it.

I was under the impression that they can only make you pay for your care, until your saving get down to around £20,000 ?

It was either a case of there being insufficient evidence, or the police thinking it was not in the public interest. Who knows what the role of the BBC hierarchy was ?
We mustn’t lose sight of the fact, that each of these children who were abused, no doubt thought they were the only ones it was happening to. They would have been a voice in the wilderness, and if in a children’s home likely to be punished for complaining.

As I mentioned before, there is a parallel here to the worldwide abuse of children by Catholic priests. I should imagine that each of those children thought they were alone in their torment. It was only when it became public knowledge that boys came forward en mass.

This question has been answered a number of times. Many of them DID go to the authorities.

The truth will probably not come out unless there is clear, substantiated witness to the alleged offences. Anything else is one living person’s testimony against one dead person’s testimony. I.e. case not proven. All of those who knew and did nothing bear equal responsibility and guilt, if the alleged offences are proven.

I think it’s now safe to say, that all doubt has been removed.
