I assume this isn’t a fake, I must say it doesn’t look like it.
Although having a video running was convenient.

Well done on the work so far, she’s looking very smart.
I haven’t been to Coventry for a long time. When they had a 50’s-60’s type
airshow. With a finale of seven DC-3s flying in formation.
Superb pictures π
keithnewsome – Yes it was done by Air Livery, painted at lightning speed as well, it only took 4 days which is far shorter than I have ever known before. They must have been working around the clock.

Can’t wait to see pics of her in her new colours..!

I believe they managed to manufacture a few from scratch during the war! π

you one. Or buy one on Ebay
So where do they now come from ? I would have imagined there was a finite supply, even reconditioned/rebuilt ones.
Well it’s certainly different. π
I wonder if you get visits from people after spare parts ?
What a lovely sight and sound.
good picture but the crop does work better π
Agreed. Saying that, a shadow can work well in a photo, but not really in this instance methinks.
Where it could be effective, is at memorial wall with the shadow pointing at a name.

Nice pictures. Are these taken from where the ambulances usually park ?
