Don’t these people realise how stupid it makes them sound ?

Fingers crossed for the pilot.
Is this the aircraft with German Air Force markings ?
Some very good pictures of the “Reds” here:
Is that the series that was shown in NI and on iplayer a few weeks ago? Looks like it but worth another watch anyway.
A very good series of three programmes. Nice that it’s going to be shown to
a wider audience.
Not to be confused with the series on WWII digs, shown around the same time.
Then ignore them.
Most people (including church members) already do ignore their policy regarding birth control and abortion.
Lets try not to turn this into a anti-Catholic or anti-religion rant.
The church is entitled to its view as are you.
Quite right, but when anything to do letting people have a dignified ending
to their lives is discussed, the church is by and large against it.
We always need to have the opinion of a church leader, even if they have
no medical experience.

For half an hour I saw no-one arguing, no-one frowning or scowling. Complete strangers chatted away happily together and everyone smiled. Perhaps that says more about the Olympic Spirit than anything else?

It was the same here.
One minute the streets were crowded, traffic brought to a standstill.
Ten minutes later it had all gone, and you wouldn’t have know anything had
happened.

The newspaper article says collision. That would seem to be the logical
assumption.
I agree with the above.
At the very least, patients should be given the option of how they die, when
they are terminally ill.
The church should stay well clear of the subject. Especially the Catholic
church, which given it’s recent history, should maintain a discreet silence. :diablo:

A very “vulgarized” version if anything…
In what respect ?
After all, it’s an accident report, not an obituary
What a great shame.
I was beginning to think we’d made the wrong decision not to go.
Once the rain eventually cleared here it wasn’t a bad day.
A friend was due to fly in from Stapleford, I don’t know if he made it.
Edit: He didn’t as Stapleford was out of use until the afternoon.
Ah well, fingers crossed for Damyns Hall in August.
An old customer of mine used to tell me some stories of when he was
on an RAF ASR launch during WWII.
He spent a lot of his time out in the North sea, waiting to pick up downed
aircrew. Very sad at times listening to aircrew who were going down with
their aircraft, asking him to pass messages to loved ones.
