There’s a number of very good videos of Nigel Farage on Youtube.
Amusing to watch, if nothing else. I liked it when he had a go at Gordon Brown.

The Typhoon normally does a practice the day before, others too I expect.
………….In peacetime, I’m sure the government could and would if there was a problem but wouldn’t as it suits them to farm out as much to the private sector as they can…….
I think it would be a case of having to. It happened during the Falklands crisis, and we have even less capability now.
Harvard pair added to the line up.
Out again apparently
Doesn’t it all come down to the fact that, in 2012 we can’t begin to imagine
what it was like for those aircrew back in the 1940’s.
We can’t apply our present day morals to those who were risking their lives
on a daily basis.
Excellent news for the people building the aircraft, and companies supplying
associated parts.
I wonder what the true cost of the deal is though. When you take into account
the deals which inevitably go on behind the scenes.
Who knows what our kids will find-out about the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan when we are gone…
Of that there is little doubt.
Are we still leasing these aircraft ?
If so, does that mean that if we no longer have the need for them,
we can hand them back ?
Should have taken a photo of him, just to see what he would have said. 🙂
I remember seeing this clip on a TV documentary on the Mustang.
This happened with pilots from both sides. Even Bob Stanford Tuck admitted
to doing it one one occasion.
You do also have to wonder if this sort of thing is still happening today ?
Very good programme. You do wonder though, what information was destroyed and why.
No doubt to protect the reputations of certain “upper class” individuals ?
Great set of photos 🙂
