Well, this wasn’t about FAs rearranging passengers as much as demonstrating that balance is important and can be affected by passengers.

This was a smaller plane, but it makes one wonder if a concerted effort could impact a larger plane.

I remember seeing the Air Accident Investigation programme on this accident.

There was also a problem with the adjustments in the control cables to the elevator.

I mentioned earlier if he was suffering a possible blocked filter which was effecting the instruments on the vac system, such as the DI he may have smashed it to allow the system to work.

Would your average pilot have know that was possibly the problem ?

I did consider that scenario. If I were a pilot in a hostile situation, I’d rather
been in something “rugged”, than in a fighter which was somewhat “delicate”.
Even if it was superior to what the opposition were flying. Especially if combat
was taking place over hostile territory. The P-47 for instance could take a lot
of damage and still keep flying, as well as being heavily armed.

You could also look at this from the point of view, of which aircraft would
have the best chance of surviving in combat.

Which could take the most punishment ?

Ironically, a young man has just had his murder conviction quashed, because his mobile phone records (which weren’t accessed at the time) showed that he was nowhere near the location, so maybe it cuts both ways?

My thoughts too. If it can save lives or protect the innocent, I don’t see the problem.

I think that where I went wrong on some of them, was that I was expecting
them to be trick questions, so I didn’t go with the obvious answer.
