That’s a huge drop in profits considering the increased revenue!
Were we expecting this?
I was actually agreeing with your post where you mentioned the applicants might have been from another department 🙂
Might also have been applicants that already work at the airport, but at a different department or company.
remember that in the UK employment law states that any position advertised internally must also be advertised to none-employees.
unfortunately that doesn’t mean that none-employees are given the same treatment…
Found this shot of a Thomas Cook Airbus 321 Scandinavia about to depart Rhodes
Nice, but I’m fairly sure that’s a 320, not a 321
Do you have a source for this? how trustworthy is it?
All of which will be swiped from your card quicker than you can say “I’m a parent”
And charged the £5 credit card transaction fee, of course!
the man had added her to his Facebook page and sent her several friend requests
This doesn’t really make sense.
He wouldn’t have been able to add her to facebook without her consent, and to my knowledge one can only send a single friend request (certainly only one at a time). Another badly researched story methinks…
I don’t think it has anything to do with anti-airbus attitudes… it’s just trying to make it seem like more of a big deal.
It happens all the time in the UK… you get an article about a little local flood and they compare it to a major flood in cornwall a couple of years ago to make it seem like a bigger deal
if i read another inconsequential bird strike report with a closing remark comparing it to the hudson crash i think i’m going to scream!
nice pictures… that Caravan has come a long way!!
I have to admit that when I heard this story on the radio I was fairly angry but it looks like it was all BBC sensationalism anyway… it’s a complete non-story and I for one will continue to fly BA 🙂
Its an Air Canada A330 in the second photo.
Whoop Whoop! 🙂
I’m thinkin the second might be Air Canada… and the first maybe a United 777?
Where were these taken? and which is your off limits local airport?
Andrew
I’m surprised that it isn’t the #1 really…
Why are AA, UA, and DL making so much more from ancillaries? I’m sure they don’t charge FR’s checking in fee… and that’s pure profit!
I was the young lad by the Blue car parked next to a orange Fiat.
I wasn’t actually there so this doesn’t help me very much… but I assume you were parked on the gravel area at the Runway 23 (or should I say 22?) end?
Never ever been moved on from there… very odd! In future, try parking up in Mole Hill Green and walk down the main road towards the approach path. After about 5 minutes there’s a field on your right… the plod will never bother you there and 200mm will still be plenty!
