Thanks Nigel,
Looks like i will have to miss that one, still got enough Qantas 707 pics recently at SEN π

Yes great pictures, especially starting off with one from Southend π
Hereβs one of the current appointed pilots, when I first saw it i could not help but stare at the guy on the far right, and thought i recognised him from somewhere……….a lot of head scratching later and its Russ Allchorne, who i last saw sitting next to me in Mathβs in the 1970`s !

Now Group Captain Russ Allchorne. Glad to see the old school steered some pupils in the direction of a worth while career. π
Picture from the bbmf website
Some nice pictures of the Cockpit at Halesworth, i had only ever seen a poor quality one. Its CF-EPV though, not a lot of C54 there, and discussed a length on this thread.

Holton/Halesworth isnt that where the Carvair Cockpit is, ex CF-EPV, now painted in some military scheme for some odd reason?
Yes, good luck guys, would be great to here her running, especially a 700 series.
I was thinking that also HP. PS was certainly at SEN yesterday!
I guess as the CL-44-O is now also registered to them on a simular registration, that that will be on its way from Bournmouth soon, unless its already gone.
No sign of the Andover this morning, but the Viscount is still there. The yard was locked so i could not get anymore details on it, just a picture through a whole in the fence π
