Theres one been at Southend for some time, guess thats the Flightline one (s) ?
I remember G-APWY being part of the collection quite well, it was inside the building when i last saw it many moons ago. 🙁
I also remember it flying regularly with Marconi out of SEN.
Still the same as when i posted those pictures back in March, no movement at all as of last week.
Lambert, I pop into North Weald around twice a month, PM me if i can help, always have the camera with me.
Newforest – you rumbled me 😀 ( and ive been outbid )
Well someone has now bid.
Here`s some info here for you Roger.
I remember XPG at the museum at SEN with G-ADXS, which is now in a sorry state.
Thanks for posting that Tillerman, I was beginning to wonder if she was ever going to get airbourne!
The Belfast seems to have had no activity for months. Not sure about the CL-44.
Oh i remember those T33`s was there not a great looking Black one?
Concorde anyone?
I am due to call in North Weald on Wednesday, so i will pop in and have a look around.
I have to say and i presume this applies to all, but access to the Airfield was refreshing simple for me on my last visit in March. Simply asking at the gate if it was ok to travel across the other side of the airfield for some pictures and a coffee at the Squadron was meet with and easy “yes” with detailed instructions of how to get there.
Such a nice change from poking a telephoto lens trough chain linked fences. 😀
Have to agree great footage, but dump the backing track!
Hope you get some good replies Chris, so many of mine look the same, even after a bit of work.
I have a Canon eos350.
Same company are trying to get one done at STN at the moment, local council is not too happy though. 😀
