Remember the Huskie was an aircraft built in the early(ish) stages of helicopter development when the designers liked to toy with ideas to see what worked best. Notice something about the Huskie that is in use quite often today? No tail rotor…quite an idea for it’s day.
From what I have read about it, which is not much I must admit, the crews loved it despite its short legs as it was fun to fly…whatever that means :diablo:

They have the Chinook, we can only guess at their status but considering Irans ability t keep the Tomcats flying I would say they’re in quite good condition.
Iran also operates the Cobra, Huey, Sea King, Sea Stallion and the Long Ranger. I believe the helicopter u refer to is quite an oldie, commonle referred to as the “Huskie”. It’s a short range SAR and fire fighting chopper.

The Long Ranger and Cobra are both being re-manufactured by HESA with some degree of modification.

This is the first letter I have recieved of this nature, but I had heard of them before to be honest.
The worrying thing is though this wasn’t just a letter, this lady (like I said if she is a lady) spent a great deal of time trying to forge a friendship.

I’m surprised people still fall for this stuff, especially given the amount of attention it has been given on radio, the internet and the TV. It was a TV program about scams like this that was on air a while back here that made me suspicious of her intentions. But it is reported that hundreds of people fall for this c*** every, don’t they pay attention to the media or something??? :rolleyes:

These are fake shark80, and if memory serves correctly they were photoshopped by a member on this forum a long time ago (I used to be an occasional visitor without registering).
If the US does indeed have Flankers in the aggressor role, they are keeping them very hush hush and the US would never buy Flankers to replace the S/H, the US doesn’t buy aircraft from places like Russia or China (it doesn’t buy aircraft from anywhere unless the are license built in the US…with the exception I believe of the B-57 Canberra, did I get that right fellas???)

U know what, people make mistakes. I honestly didn’t realise there where any Lebanese members on this forum. If u check my thread u will notice that another member added the Lebanese members to the thread for which I apologised about my ignorance and added the Lebanese to the thread myself also.
Frankly I don’t care if u do or u don’t…just proves the arrogance of the mod’s on this forum (and yes I am aware there are many other forums to join and yes I am aware I can leave anytime I wish so don’t try that one with me ok) but it would be nice if u either:
A) Re-opened my thread
OR
B) Opened a thread asking the same question in ur own words

and I think most people on here will agree it would be a nice gesture to our members to be seen CHECKING ON THEIR WELL BEING
