Thanks for ur reply Manston, yep I’m in Birmingham just outside the city centre. Think Grey Area didn’t really GET the purpose of the thread. There are a few members on this site from Israel and other nations in that area, as u noticed the whole purpose of my thread was to get a response from them to see if they’re ok.

Most “monster” movies are getting quite poor now, but there are some good ones around. As mentioned “An American werewolf in London” had some scares…the howl of the creature still makes my hairs stand on end.

What about “Cujo”…woof woof…

Inseminoid was a typical British response to a great American movie (no porn in it…although that might have made the movie watchable).
Whereas Alien was big budget with lots of atmosphere and scares, the scarest monster to be seen (still) and the some great acting “Inseminoid” featured a bunch of nobodies wearing clothing direct from the set of the series U.F.O. with special effects to match. U have no idea who the actors are meant to be or what the hell they are doing on some rock 😡

I think ur missing a few good horrors, especially the underated ones like “Urban Legend” – ok not a horror but some good stuff, especially at the start with the petrol station.

The Fog (the new version is actually quite good)
Childsplay (I never looked at my G.I.Joe in the same way again)

On the other side of the coin, u have the worst horrors like the British version of Alien, a movie called “Inseminoid” – don’t bother looking for it this thing sucks!!! A giant ant with a fringing needle to impregnate people, trust me they all deserved to die!!!
Also:
Kill dozer (a bull dozer comes to life somehow)
SLUGS (look man, slugs are slow, if they manage to catch u then u deserve to get eaten!!!)
