Ian,
Yep, four feet to my left I guess, It was a bloody great day to be honest even with the weather the way it was, after all they are ‘all weather’ aircraft and you have got some cracking shots of them doing what they do best.
Shame the Chinook was a no show but hey:D , As we walked over to 558’s hanger we went over to the QRA shed and had a sneeky peek, that floor is like glass, looks worth every penny.
Does anyone have any thought’s on a membership club?, I have seen threads elswhere on the topic and just thought I would bring it up here, quarterly news letter and a behind the scenes visit once or twice a year would be great.
I am sure that there would be quite a few willing subscribers for a measly 15-20 pounds a year, show of hands anyone?
John.
Spey,
Part two, picture No2, not that i was stalking you or anything but those are my legs comming out of 728’s nosewheel bay:p .
Thank God it was only my legs, there ugly enough without my mug in there too:diablo: 😀 :diablo: .

That Thud always bugs me because I would love to see it complete, IIRC it would be the only one in the UK, but the cost I fear will prevent this from happening for a very long time.
John.
I believe it is in the ‘paint’ shop, the new hanger has a partition door that allows part of it to be used for maintenence, there is no public access to this area.
My bet is she is in there.
John.
Do you think our snazzy vests match the paintwork?
Hope you enjoyed your flight Papa Lima, any air to ground shots you would like to share?.
Regards,
John.
As far as I know wind is quoted as the direction it is comming from, hence a southerly wind is travelling from the south to the north.
Someone correct me if I am wrong please:confused: .
John.
Thanks Rlangham
This year will be my fourth year visiting Brunters but first time to give me sat nav a go at beating my best route!!.
John.
Andy
Is there a postcode for Brunty?, it’s a sat nav thing you know:D .
John.
Not forgetting to reduce the the file size of your pictures first!!, the file size limit for jpegs is 300kb.
Reduce the size of your pics to about 750 wide by 350 tall using adobe PS or simmilar programme and when you save them got to file>save for web and this should further compress them to acheive a small file size.
Nashio966 carefull when you post screenshots as you can clearly see what you are looking at in the tabbed browsing:D .

All looking good to me:) , the Hunter looks realy nice and adds that extra something to Brunty.
Will both the ‘Girls’ be making an appearance next weekend?.

This morning i was working on my Triumph Tiger 750 (1973), Then popped up to Twinwoods museum. This afternoon I have been glueing new ply on the fin of my Luton Minor, at last. Yesterday moved a Gruanu Baby 11b out of dads workshop and Slingsby Kirby Kite 1 into its place.
Envy drives us to better ourselves:D .
At the moment I am working on emptying another tin of Carlsberg:) .
On the bench at the moment is a Kuwait 2 seat Lightning and a kitbash deltawing F.6, looking forward to the airshow season and honing my photography skills, also when I get round to it I have a half finished book on the chronology of the Lightning that demands my attention somwhere.

Thats some story to tell, nice to see you on the board, 56-57 would put the Vulcan in it’s experimental period and was not in service just then but bombing trials would have certainly been carried out in this period.
One of the more fanatic Vulcan members on this forum would be able to tell you more.

John.
Hi Resmoroh
In what way were you involved?
