One morning I thought I could get past the laundry moving up the stick so I elected to proceed with haste..

    I lost the election:o

The SWO sent one of his elves to deliver his compliments 🙁 even us CS aren’t immune.

Yep, let’s just get on with it, I care not for copyright, never have, I’ve posted pics all over the place that weren’t mine, plus I have no idea who’s they were in the first place,in the rare occasions questions are asked I always blame an old mate of mine (Commander Powell) who went missing years ago:D folk really get bent out of shape over this, I mean, I’ve had photos nicked off the net before & used on other sites, really I do not give a monkeys.

If Vin1 wants to mark photos as his, no worries, if he wants to mark mine as his still no worries as in most cases they weren’t even mine in the first case, & I was just using them with Commander Powell’s permission:D

we are to close by 2013 we’ve been all informed

Don’t often post in here as it seems to be flame city, but to close Cottesmore just proves that the world has finally gone mad, hopefully this complete shower of No2’s that masquerades as our government will be booted out before lasting damage has been done.
Once its gone its gone, another asset lost at the hands of these cretins, a two year gap without Nimrod not to mention all the other cost saving exercises.
Been through drawdown thing at STM, not a nice thing to be subjected to.

Anyhow, flamers flame away, I won’t be listening.

A few more Ollie, looks like the treasure hunters beat us to it, think they were a team from Marham.

Afraid not Ollie, I only have pics of her at St Mawgan.

The Dayglow panels warned of the fuel tanks that had yet to be de-gassed.

A few pics of XL190 at St Mawgan, she sat there for quite a while before being moved over towards the HAS site when ultimately the scrapman had his wicked way with her.

A few bits were saved though, I believe the nose section was with a few other bits & bobs.

Looks like that & the Airfix 1/24th Mozzie will drag me out of retirement:o

If anyone brings out a (decent, not vac) 1/48th MK3/3 Shackleton, it’ll be sooner than that:D

Now that’s something I would like to see made into a TV series: Milligan’s war diaries.

Now that is one of the best suggestions I’ve heard on here since I signed up, large quantity of epic win:cool:

Sounds like Spike Milligan’s CO, Major Jumbo Jenkins.

Who could every forget the Milligan marching song using the tune from the Alouette song , with the lyrics “Balls to Jumbo, Balls to Jumbo Jenkins”:D
