    Andy,

Multiple nose glazings? Is that a German car in the background with Freiburg plates?

Cees, I’ve got all the controls for my Lancaster II panel but no one ever seems to fit the cables etc. So I just want to understand how the whole thing fits together 🙂

I don’t really need the big stuff until I get the wings on :diablo: but it would be interesting to see pictures if you have any.

    Hi Smirky,

No news on the cables I am afraid, I have plenty of info on the
Halifax set up but that is completely different.

    Cheers

    Tony,

    More pics please,

The amount of wreckage recovered was massive and in excellent condition.
Would have provided a lot of parts to any reconstruction, It has on mine.

Good news that part of her has gone back.
By the way, the Dutch people are all for recovering the missing aircrew, it’s
the financial bit the local authorities do not like.

What a shock to read this, so short after the publishing of his book Home is the Halifax.

YAM’s Halifax will stand as a fitting tribute to his work.

    Condoleances to his loved ones.

I visited Shoreham Aerojumble in 2003 and had a blast. Met some nice people there (Martin, Elliott and Andy, although too briefly) and among other interesting things spotted a complete Mosquito pilot’s seat and a set of Typhoon elevators, I wonder where they ended up.

This is my favorite of the collection in hangar 2, hope she flies before too long.
