I.M.H.O. I am not altogether surprised re the making of these films. It’s accepted that a great deal of Poetic Licence is used by the film makers, to make the film more “GRIPPING/EXITING” etc.
If they made a film just for example the Great Escape, would it be as interesting as we have seen the film, or if the film Companies just stuck to the bare facts which in many cases would probably be far less than minimilistic.
Would that not make it a documentary?

I think webby is doing some changes to integrate the key.aero header into the forum layout. I could be wrong, wouldn’t be the first time. 😀
Incidentally, there is Flash on the forum. Used for the banner ad rotation. 🙂

If it were feasible, we would see large sums of development money being spent on developing it. Rather on all-electric and hybrid-electric power-trains.
I think Solid Oxide Fuel Cells – or variants – hold a great deal of hope for the future.

I think a big part of the recession was credit given to those who couldn’t afford it in the first place. Everyone else who could manage a sensible debt before, should still be able to now, even with tightened purse strings.

Looking at the picture, I was confused why she was smiling after landing on the grass. 😀

Hmm, how did I miss these? Great shots Paul, hope to see more as the nicer weather comes.
The “plucking” of a large number was no more than conveying that these companies are making really quite sizable profits in the current economy.
The UK is a sizable market for these companies, they are not going to pull out. How many of these companies are truely British? It is a cost of doing business here in the UK. It is not just one company getting saddled with the bill.
In my cynical view, it is largely pointless – it’ll get passed down to us all, eventually.

Wikipedia has a description on what the new branding is supposed to achieve:
A new corporate logo designed by Mara Institute of Technology (Malay: Institut Teknologi Mara) later known as Mara University of Technology (Malay: Universiti Teknologi Mara) was introduced on 15 October 1987, retaining the essence of the moon kite, with a sheared swept-back look. Along with the new corporate logo, a new type style – MALAYSIA, was created. It is italicised to slant parallel with the logo to accentuate speed as well as direction. Within this corporate typestyle, the letters MAS bear red clippings to denote the initials of the statutory name of the airline, Malaysian Airline System (MAS), and were added after the original design was rejected by former Prime Minister Tun Dr. Mahathir. The introduction of blue to the original red logo has national significance. The red and blue divides equally in the middle to denote equilibrium.
I am surprised Toncontin isn’t on that list. Arguably, the most dangerous airport in the world.
