I don’t know about the scotch eggs but I’ll be there:D
Kev you no the golden rule!!
Unfortunately the colours are going to change shortly to come in line with Europe so there is going to be some confused sparkies around and the ‘blue to bits’ could be true
No more red, yellow, blue now its going to be brown, black, and grey with blue as neutral

I must admit I was taken in (I was sure It was a ‘7’) had me worried as I’m a electrician we’re not supposed to be colour blind:D
My son enjoyed it as well, (He’s 15 and I traumatised him from an early age so its OK! )

I’ll be at Duxford Sunday. Is there any arrangement for a forum get together yet? Ashley’s nibbles and all that!
No Fighter collection participation listed yet?
Moggy
I was suprised that they didn’t edit it out of the film on sunday!
If you have to hang any aircraft from the ceiling then surely its better to put a replica up there.
if you go back a couple of months there was an item on the forum regarding wether a spit was the genuine article or not, most of the general public and some enthusiasts for that matter would not notice at first glance,as proved with the AAM P-51.
A replica would also be lighter so less weight and stress on the building structure. Then the genuine article could stay on the ground for all to view, then if the museum is concerned about space for the original aircraft they could give them to small museums and collections who would probably appriciate them more, and also could not afford to hang them from the roof .
I agree with snapper the AAM is to cramped, no good for photos not a lot of scope to move the exibits around.
And I thought I was the only cynical one Andrew!!
How about this for a suggestion get them to give back the £14.2 million (which they’ve must have made a lovely bit of interest on) and give it to the Vulcan:p

Ashley I think that both Directors are equally guilty of this craze for hanging every thing from the ceiling.
Also sorry to keep on but all this talk of preserving TFCs Mossie ‘for the Nation’at least if it goes to the US there is a chance of seeing it get off the ground again and not with Bl**dy catinery wires hanging out of it!
Whinge over!! (Sorry Ashley I wasn’t aiming that at you):p
Alex I will be there as its nice and local to me 🙂
