So crime only arrived in the last generation? What rubbish.

But fear not. Salvation looms – though you might not like it. When, within the next thirty to forty years, an Islamic govt. rules in this country, we will have Sharia law whether we like it or not. Then crime will disappear – virtually.

Probably the saddest thing I’ve read on here. It is such a deluded point of view as to require sympathy rather than ridicule. With around 3% of the population, how are Muslims going to 50% in 30-40 years? Ludicrous.

Sorry, I’ve fed the troll again

Interesting that you clearly think that not stopping required excuses.

Is it an offence in the US not to stop at the scene of an accident?

Rather than thinking of new ways to punish what would be better would be stopping it in the first place. Eradicating the causes like poverty, inequality, unemployment, alienation and you’ll go a long way to stopping a large amount of crime.

I rather think that proposing a closed tyrannical state like Saudi Arabia is hardly the way to go, unless of course giving up your freedom is what you desire.

I’ve been infrequently over the past few years.

I took these last year from the Silver Wings enclosure. You are looking into sun a lot early in the day but later the light is nice (if the sun comes out!)

As far as traffic is concerned, we came in from the south but took a detour to be on the east side of the airfield. Traffic was OK for us but I believe a nightmare for others – get there early!

I used to work for a large corporation that used to build aeroplanes. They were notorious for not paying bills until the final demand came in. The finance people didn’t seem to care what effect their actions had on the suppliers. Having said that, the small companies kept coming as the business was worth a lot to them.

Creature from the Black Lagoon (1954)

1950s creature movie. Probably really scary in 1954 but looks really crap now.

    Hop (2011)

A mixture of live action and animation. A layabout becomes the Easter bunny (honestly). Not hilarious but decent enough kid’s movie for Easter.

    Enchanted (2007)

A fairytale princess played by Amy Adams ends up in present-day New York. Good fun and surprisingly well done. A great Disney movie.

    Due Date (2010)

Robert Downey Jr and Zach Galifianakis are forced together by circumstances to drive from Atlanta to LA. Similar to Planes, Trains and Automobiles but not nearly as funny. One or two poignant moments though.

A Wiki search shows the Argentine Type 42 frigates were ordered in 1970 but the loan wasn’t until 1979. Maybe somebody has made it up….

I suspect if the government had a crystal ball and knew the Falklands were going to be invaded then the loan wouldn’t have been made. Isn’t hindsight wonderful.
