“Can our Israeli friends tell us how many F-4s, A-4s, and Kfirs Israel could upgrade and sell to an interested country”.

I read that IDF/AF offered to Turkey a squadron of F-4 Kurnass, i don´t know if this deal was done or not.

When the French Air Force came to Brazil for a joint exercise with Brazilian Air Force one of the pilots involved in this exercise was a woman, by the way a beautiful blonde woman, flying a Mirage 2000.

Two F16s from Indiana Air National Guard (Terre haute) collided over a training area. One pilot ejected safely and the other was killed.

    Spectral,

One of the Vulcans experienced problems and was intercepted and scorted by two FAB F-5s to Galeão AB in Rio de Janeiro . The Vulcan was carrying the Shrike when landed in Brazil and was disarmed and flew back to Ascension Islands.
It is quite common to see RAF aircraft making stops here in Brazil, specially in Rio de Janeiro and Rio Grande do Sul states, when they are in route to Falklands Islands.

the word RIO is no longer used, is more appropriate to call WSO. RIO was used in the past for the Tomcats when they were used in Air defense role, now they are bombers and more correct to call the back seater as WSO.
They are using the same term for RAF tornado (F.3/GR.4) crews?

I remember another one, actually it is not a movie but a tv series, in late 90´s named Pensacola, but, in fact is a US Marine Corps F-18 Hornet squadron. James Brolin acted as a Colonel, CO of the squadron.

BME330, the deal in on hold, the same for the TA-4Js offered to Bolivia. Lack of funds is the main reason.

Final Countdown with Kirk Douglas, Martin Sheen, James Farentino. Tells the history of the USS Nimitz returning to WW2 few days before the attack on Pearl Harbor. Excelent flying sequences of two F-14s Tomcats as well as a lot of “traps” on the carrier.

    Flex297,

    Just some quick notes,

Ecuador – the C7 was converted to CE
Peru – Grounded its Mirage 5 fleet
Argentina – Mirage IIICJ retired from service
Chile – Mirage Elkan is an upgraded Mirage 5
Venezuela – They don´t have Mirage 5 in their inventory. The original Mirages III were upgraded to Mirage 50 standards
Brazil – the capital of the country is Brasilia.

I heard that US offered one KC-135 to supplement the already in use B-707. It will be great as the KC-135 could refuel all fighters and different refuelling systems.
