    I think the F5 is superior in terms of turn if compared with the Mig-21. i don´t think the Mig 21 can get good results with modern fighters, but, the F5 sometimes get. What is very good on the Mig 21 is speed.
    Well in Europe, there were exercises in which Romanian, Bulgarian and Polish Mig21s have participated, i don´t know if they got good results.

    What is deplorable?

    I just mentioned that few weeks after the meeting between the American General and Brazilian authorities, the commission sugests the F-16, that´s it. If FAB will decide for the F-16, congratulations to Lockheed Martin, to the General and other government authorities.

    Guys,

    Another headache for the Brazilian President.
    According to a very well informed colunist from one of the most important Brazilian newspapers, the report prepared by the comission headed by the Minister of Defense sugests the purchase of the F-16 Viper.
    “Surprisingly” a few weeks ago the US joint chief of Staff, Gen. Richard Myers came here and had meeting with the Brazilian AF Commander in chief, the Minister of Defense. So, let´s wait.

    Primer, I agree with you. Reading the carachteristics, is a kind of a mixture of technologies apllied on the L and M verions of the sidewinder as well as for the AIM-120.

    Currently the missile used by FAB is the Python III, right now we are introducing the locally developed MAA-1 Piranha (similar to the Sidewinder versions L and M) and the Navy use the AIM-9H Sidewinder on its A-4s.

    Nice picture of the Kfir CE, I really like this airplane. What happen with the Jaguar fleet, grounded? scrapped? sold?
    Regarding the BVR missiles in FAB, oh man….depends which fighter will be selected. Right now, we have only speculation.

    Guys,

    The official and final reporte was released last thursday by FAB officials and authorities from the government and they have recommended to the President the SU-35 Flanker.
    The decision will take place during the month of April. Let´s wait.
