Its already a storm and a genocide, its just not being reported as such in the western media. I started worrying the moment the Syrians were forced to pull out. If the Syrians can do what they did in the 1980s then Lebanon still has a chance. Otherwise say good bye to Lebanon and say hello to Greater Israel, at least for the next few years.

You get organizations like Hezbollah out of Lebanon, and we won’t have a problem.

The problem here is Syria……and to some extent Iran…..both of those nations support these terrorist organizations and they keep them in business……thus, allowing the Lebanese people to suffer.

Somebody has got to get with the Lebanese government to get all Syrian and Iranian influence out of that country so they can rebuild and not have to deal with organizations like Hezbollah.

Organizations like Hezbollah are effectively using Lebanon as a shield because they know the Israelis are going to hit targets in the country as long as Hezbollah operatives are there. As such, the international community sees this, not as an attack on terrorists, but as an attack on the innocent people of Lebanon…..

Don’t you get it?? Israel is not the bad guy in this…….that title belongs to Syria, Iran, and the organizations they support.

go dig your own hole boy, did I look like I was talking to you?

Hey SOC, just a question. I know the US is not offically Israel’s ally, but Israel is probably the most stable in the region. So what the hell are u guys doing supplying Egypt, a potential aggressor of Israel, with Apaches, F-16s, frigates and M1 Abrams MBT’s?
Yes I know Egypt has changed a lot in recent years but there is a chance, regardless of how slight, that history could repeat itself. I mean I’m not saying u have a poor taste in friends or anything but look what happened to Iran

If I recall my history correctly, Egypt was bought off – Egypt was perceived to have betrayed the Arab league and was expelled, and this from being the head of the Muslim World – by American arms, politics and money. In the opinion of the Muslim World this was done because the US realized after 1973 that the israelis might not be able to handle the Egyptians in another war – the Egyptians had significantly improved in their tactics and general military capability to take on Israel again and again to a point were a conscript israeli army would have bancrupted the israeli economy. Further, the Egyptians had fully blockaded the Israeli ports in 1973 clearly indicating that the viability of conflict with Egypt would be beyond costly for the Israelis. Egypt was bought to save Israel.

Its all there on the web, my suggestion use google and read as far and wide as you can and you’ll eventually get somewhere.

I only know that 34 brave U S Navy men serving aboard the USS Liberty were murdered by the Israel Air Force and Torpedo Boats. The ship was a converted merchant ship with a top speed of 5 knots. The Israelis claimed it was going at an aggressive 30 knots. Three life boats were put over with the wounded men aboard. The torpedo boats sank them in violation of the Geneva Conventions.
The Israeli took the engines out of F-104s to put in thier KFIR fighters. This was counter to their agreement with the US in not using the engines for any other use.
Since 1949, the USA has “loaned” Israel 100 Billion Dollars with no repayment in sight. In fact the annual amounts are going up.
Since 1949, the USA has not loaned Palestine one dollar.
You wonder why the Arabs want to blow us up?
I’m 78 years old and served in the Navy flying in SB2Cs so I’ve seen a lot. I think we should pull out of our support of Israel and let them sink by themselves.

I find it most fascinating when westerners like you and SOC say that – how did you survive the brainwashing of CNN and Fox News? How did you manage to grow out of following the patriotic crowd who view us Muslims as evil?

A few questions I really wish I knew:

Does this phenomenon represent an outlier of the population or does it have a statistically significant correlation with something?

Is this phenomenon geographically concentrated to specific states?

Are ppl like you and SOC white, Christian and born Americans?

What’s truly fascinating with that this is that online opinions have little bias – you aren’t gaining anything or losing anything by speaking your mind – while in the real world you’d probably be calculating what you say to whom. I seriously wish I could make a study of this.

It must have been a real threat to scramble helicopters! 😀 😀 😀

Hmm.. not that I am supporting either side in this argument but sending helicopters against slow UAVs is generally considered an effective way to deal with them because of the high stall speed of combat aircraft.

🙂 I’d like to see one with 3 engines or two asymetric engines, how about that?
