In that condition….expect to pay around £1500-£2500….it is one of the best I have seen. Given a couple of keen bidders… who knows.
They are lovely items…but I am biased!

I have a photo which I will post after the museum meeting tonight – if noone else has. It was brilliant – i thought the seat mechanism was very advance too.
We had a great time and enjoyed chatting to many visitors about Mustangs and Spitfires.

Tee hee! We made the Jo Whiley show on Radio 2 – great plug. I sent a text saying I was frantically working on my Spitfire Cockpit and tomorrow my daughters and I would be on our way to CockpitFest. Asked to say hi to the other cockpiteers! Anyhoo, she said that around 20:22. And did giggle saying does it really exist. She said she would google it. Played Little Minx song and then confirmed CockpitFest does exist and gave us a real good plug – even joking that she might present her show there next year. Obviously she was reading some stuff off the mighty TO’s/NAMs website!!!

Anyways, I have a column to fit and some underpants to catch and wash!!!

Bon voyage and safe journeys to all!

Thanx also for the best wishes from everyone. This is a great event. I have been sending a daily blog to the Chris Evans show – no luck so far!!

Matt, your Lightning will go down a scream dont worry!!!

Well, just about to eat pasta and then bolt in the pedals and column….hoover first!!!
Then rivet in the throttle plate and fit all the instruments – it will be a late night.
I decided to build the Mk1 at last year’s fest – it should be all finished bar the throttle box!!!

Could you find a shaker or two please? We could see if they fit? And we could check the numbers Nimgen gave me
