I too prefer complete aircraft – but sometimes cockpits can have their place.

I will chat to the BDAC directors to see if any of the other items survived at the yard. I know we had various engine panels as well as seats.

I understand your frustrations Mark and wish we could have saved it all. Surely 40ft of nose/fuz is better than it all going to saucepans? You might like to come and visit the museum and see how we do our ‘bit’.

Yet another Classic British Aircraft decapitated with is sole ripped out.

Its now just a cold empty soleless repesentation of a BIT of an aircraft and our Heratige that gives no feeling or aura of what it was.

Its just a Pointy Tube, the interesting shape, size and grandure has all gone. Sad and outragous.

Jeeezz, Kids will grow up thinking all we ever had were cockpits to sit in and pretend we were flying. They will have no idea of the real face to face beauty of the hole aircraft and take in its size.

When we have destroyed everything I supose we can alway idalise the American stuff.

Never mind, we can always build a Replica or make a CGI one !!!!
